I love reading as much as the next gal. I love reading books, mostly novels and magazines. Basically anything that’s interesting, well except for school books and notes. It’s really crazy how I can read a novel all night even though I’m feeling sleepy, I keep telling myself, “Just one more chapter” till it’s day break and I am looking like a zombie but when it comes to school books, I open the book and it becomes into a snooze fest. It’s a miracle I passed exams.

Anyways, these are the books on my ‘To read list’ for this month of August. The first on this list is the Lorien Legacies by Pittacus Lore. The serial books are the best (do not quite me on this though), I love the ones I’ve read so far. Needless to say that is only four out of seven. I deem it necessary to list the books in the series that I’m reading because there are so many other novellas under the Lorien Legacies but the main ones are seven and they are:

  1. I Am Number Four
  2. The Power of Six
  3. The Rise of Nine
  4. The Fall of Five
  5. The Revenge of Seven
  6. The Fate of Ten
  7. United As One

There you go, the 7 books, 8 if you count Generation One. No, it’s seven, generation one is the beginning of a new book series, kind of like a sequel to the Lorien Legacies.

The book is about a group of aliens that were sent to earth after the destruction of the planet, kinda like Supergirl and Superman but different ?. So, there are nine people in this group that were sent to earth and a charm was placed on them when they got to earth so that they couldn’t be killed out if order, that is, they could only be killed starting from 1 – 9, so even if they found number 8, he couldn’t be killed until 1-7 is killed. If they try to kill any one out of order, the assailant would receive the injury instead, pretty cool charm.

I would give you more gist in it but I don’t wanna spoil the books for you all, you should definitely go check it out. It’s cool. Seven books in 4 weeks, it will take all my will power not to rush the reads. If you have ever read these books or plan on reading them, let me know what you think of them.
