Lately, hair care are becoming more popular, everyone is mindful of the chemicals in their hair product and that is what brought about this post. These are a few DIYs to care for your hair whether natural, relaxed or texlaxed without worrying about chemicals. Be sure to test before applying to your whole hair just in case you are allergic to any organic products.
Ingredients: Lime Juice
Time Frame: Overnight
Apply a mixture of lime juice and amla juice to scalp, keep overnight and wash off next day.
Rub bald area with onions till it becomes red and then apply honey on the area.
BOUNCE TO DULL HAIR:
Ingredients: Apple Cider Vinegar
To give bounce to dull hair, rinse hair with a mixture of little vinegar and warm water.
Mix 1 tsp of honey into 4 cups of warm water, pour over hair after shampooing, DON’T rinse out. Dry as usual.
Ingredients: Mashed Avocado
Time Frame: 15 minutes
Mix mashed avocado with coconut milk until smooth and as thick as shampoo. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse well.
Massaging scalp helps stimulate hair growth by increasing blood flow to scalp.
TREAT HAIR LOSS:
Time Frame: 30 minutes
Apply a mixture of 1 tbsp. cumin to 1/2 cup of olive oil and rub into hair for 30 minutes and wash off.
TREAT HAIR FALL:
Amla (Indian Gooseberry)
Message scalp with curd mixed with lime juice and amla (Indian gooseberry) before going to bed to treat hair fall.
PREMATURE GREYING OF HAIR:
Ingredients: Mehndi (Henna)
Time Frame: 45 minutes
To avoid premature greying of hair, apply mehndi or henna mixed with an egg, lemon juice and coffee powder and wash it after 45 minutes.
Ingredients: Olive Oil
Apply olive oil to dry hair, it conditions it and gets rid of frizz.
