    TIPS ON BREAD MAKING

I’ve always wondered how breads are made and also maybe one day try to make one myself. Apparently, there are two ways to describe a bread: yeast breads or quick breads. I know what you are thinking; that if I didn’t know that then I have a lot to learn. Well, you would not be wrong. Using yeast in bread makes it light and spongy (Go yeast!). Quick breads on the other hand, depend upon baking powder, baking soda with sour milk or molasses, air or steam for their lightness. The difference between a batter and a dough is the proportion of liquid to flour used; a batter uses more…

    ITALIAN MINESTRONE

Minestrone is a vegetable soup originating from Italy. It is usually made out of whatever vegetables are in season. It can be a vegetarian dish, it could also contain meat or a meat based broth like chicken stock. Bean broth is argued to be the base of a minestrone and that Borlotti beans also called Roman beans are the beans to use for a genuine minestrone. INGREDIENTS: 1 cup dried beans 1/4 lb. salt pork, diced 1 cup carrots, diced 1 cup celery, chopped 1/2 cup onions, chopped 1 clove garlic, chopped 1 bay leaf 1/4 tsp. thyme 1 qt. soup stock 1 cup elbow macaroni 1 cup tomatoes, canned…

    NEW SERIES ALERT: CHARMED 2018

Ok, so Charmed is a new series that I am definitely going to follow. I already love the characters especially the sister bond they have. As I have come to know, there as been a Charmed series that aired in the late 90s, and that this new one is a reboot. I didn’t see the first one but I like this one. I like that the girls like each other, that the series is not going to be about them finding a common ground and bonding or about them trying their best to work together, always arguing and fighting. Seeing as this is a reboot of a show that did…
